I found a dealer with a couple of brand new 1/43 914-6 GT resine models
they're not available now - he showed the first prototypes
I asked him to sell me one, no chance
9 different GTs
one of them looks like the 914RS

Was the show sponsored by a bunch of car clubs? |
nope - it's a kind of a "professional" fair, so all the clubs, dealers and other exhibitors have to pay a fee for their place
the Munich fair is the biggest one in a 2 hours circle around my area

Gustl,
Thanks for sharing all of the photos!
Are the resin model 914's made from the Mini Racing 1/43 914 series of kits? Or are these a new series of castings by some else?
Pit Models used to have a series of 1/43 914 kits, but these seem to have gone out of production.

Are you close - or will you be going? Love to meet a far away club member and buy them a beer!
We are also hitting Switzerland and Austria.

the guy offers 1/43 914-6 GT resine kits from various brands:
- PIT
- MINI RACING
- MA SCALE
- COMPETITION
- ABC BRIANZA
he told me, that almost all of his 914-6 GTs are miniatures from real cars, more or less historic significant
the yellow/black one started at a race in Wolfenbuettel (in the north of Germany) in 1972

The Oktoberfest is about two hours in the north from my area
I really don't like it - too many drunk people, too expensive beer, too large crowd - personally I avoid events like this
But I'd like to meet you, when you're on your way from Swizerland to Austria (not only for the beer )
Just let me know details when you know 'em
