I and Wes will be working the Lit Show for Pelican Saturday and be at the swap meet on Sunday selling our own stuff.
Got my EZ-up and tarps. It has rained before and it is still the best swap meet on this coast.

Got response from 356 organizer for the event Sunday; said it's on rain or shine.

I'll be there with the 914 rain or shine. I will bring towels and my umbrella cover.

Vendors selling memorabilia, magazines, posters, and assorted pins/badges. The real show is Sunday....

Ready for "El Nino" and the "Pineapple Express". (We sure as hell need the rain). Installed the rain hats on my Webers, RainX'ed the windshield, new windshield wipers, umbrella on board and a small can of WD40. The last time I drove in a heavy rain, the engine stopped. Completely! Got out the can of WD40, spayed everything down. Started right up. The stuff works as advertised. Against better judgment, I have decided to go to the indoor show at the LAX Hilton and then the swap meet at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. I hope to see all the "regulars" there.

I will be there with rain gear, of all things, in tow......... not in the 914 however as I rarely if ever put the top on it / and rain is not going to make me do that in So/cal....

Bruce...I'm looking for those clips that hold on the cable to the acutuators on the fresh air box. I had a picture somewhere I'll try and find it.

I'm from Louisiana. If I had allowed rain to deter any activity whatsoever, I would still be there in the rain.... The swapmeeters will be under tents and the main sprung structure is a totally indoor venue that is worth the price of admission alone.

I am pretty much waterproof but the teener is not.... She stays home / not I.

I will be there but without the teener because the interior is going thru a dashboard update.

So much for getting there early with our cars just to wait in the rain. I will probably get there around 8:30 and hopefully the line will be less as well as hopefully less rain.

Well I've been planning to go, even got the day off work. The rain made me worried about turnout but the responses here have made me feel a little better. I'll still be driving up from San Diego.

The rain seems to be subsiding here in Huntington Beach.

Wish I had driven the 914. It's sunny and warm here at 8:20.... Don't know about the field.... I'm sure it's muddy.

Left at 8:00 in the rain. Rain was gone by the time I got there. Nice to see everyone!! Had an awesome time. Beyond surprised how nice it turned out. Bought a pair of Mohn ski racks, tshirts, new jack, etc.

It started out soggy, but ended up Sunny. This is one of, if not THE best Porsche shows in SoCal. It was good seeing everyone, I'm on complete Porsche overload.

I picked up a beautifully resored pedal set from Bruce Stone (Thank you!!!) and my other two deep six Fuchs wheels to complete the set.

A few other goodies too.

Oh, and I'm going to look at another car to buy later today. Adriatic Blue.

Was able to pick up a rear sway bar, some Weber manifolds, an intake boot for the current setup, and some other trinkets.

Great show, glad the weather turned out great.

Edit: anyone know where I can find the lower strut bolts for the rear sway bar setup? I hear they cost a bit, but whatever the deal on the bar was to good to pass up.
