Hi All
Can any one tell me please what the correct powder coat finish is for the gauge rims, main gauge holder and other general interior metal pieces please. I thinks its Satin Black but need to be sure before heading down to the powder coaters.
This is for 1974 LE.
Thanks Steve

Steve,

Since the parts were all painted originally, & because the PC shops use different products/color charts - the best way is to use the OE painted parts to match to the shop's chart to get the closest color in PC.

Thanks Tom do you think Satin Black paint finish would be the closest to original finish?
Cheers (I put Steinlager in my beer glass) beerchug.gif

The best match I've found to oem painted items is a 30% gloss I have mixed at the auto paint store. Single stage with a little hardener added at spraying time. It's a little duller than satin which is about 40% gloss.

my nephew, my powder painter said it's called 50/50 in the trade.
