One would need Lotto type money to own and operate any of these vehicles if they expect to drive them!

I couldn't afford to have one of them even if someone gave me one! 1st time I need parts or repairs I'd be hosed.

Wondering how many will be museum pieces to never be driven again? sad.gif

It seems odd that he's unloading so many of his prized cars - especially the 917, 356 Carrera & 718! blink.gif

Maybe he needs the cash!? confused24.gif

He feels the Bubble is about to Burst and wants to cash out!
Andyrew
Why would he want to get rid of the CGT prototype though? I mean of all those cars that is probably the car that will hold its current value best after the bubble..

Its just so freeking unique.. I love love love it...

TC is right. The CGT can only be a trophy.
There are many in this group that can actually be used.
How about a 962 on the street ? or a Carrera Speedster or the RSK ?
So many !!!

Didn't he use his RSK in the Kevin Heart 'comedians in cars getting coffee'?

BTW it's cool he's keeping the 914/6GT he just purchased biggrin.gif

That plate is on the white GT that was owned originally by Alfa Romeo.
In a recent Excellence story about Comedians in Cars he is said to have arrived at a location in that car.

I seriously doubt Jerry is worried capitalizing or losing money on investments.

I wouldn't say that. Rich folks didn't get that way loosing. Many have lost their asses on these high-end cars as the market has roller coastered over the past decade or so. Selling that many cars at once he can either do really well or really bad.

Either way it will be interesting. . . popcorn[1].gif

20 years of rerun residuals. Damn near every day on multiple networks. It adds up. Rapidly. According to the CNN article he's selling to 'make room'.
eric9144
He's just making room and clearing out some things...I've seen 4 of these at the [secret] resto body shop for their minor touch ups and all of his cars are amazing.

I'm totally wub.gif with his white \6 GT car, but there are others in the collection on the west coast that are far more impressive to the general P-Car fans.
