That's all superficial and all it needs Is to be flapper wheeled and repainted.

Show us your battery tray. Pull your rocker covers and show us your longs. Take a pic of the trailing portion of your rear trunk. Take a good look at your engine tray around the gasket that fits in the channel.

Are 1 & 2 holes ?
3 & 4 should weld up pretty easy with a brass backer.
#5, your missing the bolt to your front suspension.

Take some time to inspect the entire car and make a list of the replacement panels you might need so you can place one order. Better to know exactly what rust you have, hopefully it is just the front trunk floor.

cary - good eye!
imapayne - I'll bet you have quite a bit more hidden rust than what you see in the spare tire well.

interestingly, I have a green 914 in similar state of disassembly, on an identical blue/yellow two post lift. beerchug.gif

Looks like the left front corner was hit.
scrape up the tar at the back of the floor pan, under the seat.
Look at the back of the trunk.
Look under the battery tray.
Pull the rocker panels that cover the longs.
Check under the car, especially the right rear suspension console.

You will find more rust.

Someone either drove it hard and put it away wet or its a 160-260K car.

Looks like Palma Metaluc Green. Congrats on the purchase. My shop is in Hillsboro so not far if you need any parts.
Hope you can make it to WCR. It will be fun.
