I've got the prescribed problems, and it's making the car run like crap at idle. It also hot idles around 1800 rpm's. What do you guys think this could be? It runs great other wise, i've been driving it around and the whole bit. Any advice would be greatly appreaciated:).

Had the dizzy out lately? Could be 180 off....ask Andy about it.... wink.gif

Ignition is too advanced and/or your AAR valve is stuck partway open.

Alright, ignition is probably a good place to start. I'll try and re-time it tomorrow. I really should recheck TDC for #1, what are the trick's for finding it? I think I may have been a little off.

How much effect on the advance would a vacum leak have ?

Popping in the intake tract can be 2 things. Too lean, or a tight valve. The Cap'n

to lean, I think your on to something, the ecu is almost turned all the way rich to let it run decent at idle, and it still leans out a lot fair amount at idle. Very hard to start when cold, usually take 10 minutes to be drivable. What would you do to get it to stop running so lean?
