I am tracking down a couple vacuum leaks on my 1.7, theres a fitting that goes into the induction eblow, which is a little loose fitting. how can I fix this up a little for a better seal? plastic tool handle dip on the fitting, etc?

I did repair one with tool handle dip. I used marine canvas like glass cloth, painted it with Rust-oleum Grip and guard. The repair worked great, that didn't stop me from getting the next one that was good as a spare.

Just paint the cracks and cut a piece of cloth to fit the aera the break is in and paint it in. I used 2 layers in some aeras. Let it dry over night. I was really suprised how strong it turned out.
