I need two of the pins and two of the clips that hook up the e-brake cable to the rear calipers. Are these still available new? Not really sure what to call them....

well - Porsche calls them 'bolt' (999.166.055.02 - 6 x 15 x 12 ) and ''lock" (N 012.645.2)

i never liked the 'lock' and drilled the "bolt" for a cotter pin (available everywhere, probably a good idea to put a washer between it and the lever) or a loop of safety wire.

I just used a screw and 2 nuts from the hardware store... tighten the 2 nuts to each other... it won't go anywhere...

Tweeks has the clips. CWs can apply here.

FWIW, I'm not a CW but got them anyway. Also need a set ot pins/clips (2) for the equalizer cable to the brake handle, same pin.

I ended up getting the pins from AA.

So, Dirk Wright Disease is when you try to fix something, and your desire to fix all the problems that arise escalates out of control.

I propose that having "Mueller Mind" is when your desire to tinker or "make better" slowly consumes your ability to get your car off jack stands.. confused24.gif
