Hello! My name is Thomas, i recently turned 18, got my driver license and about to get my first car! My dad once bought a car for me, the car was supposed to be a present for my 18 years birthday, but the car needs to be rebuilt after it has been separated for 20 years. The car i believe is a Porsche 914. It has a lot of the same features as the 914, but then again the bodywork is different from 914, and looks more like a 916. But anyway i hope some of you would help me identify my car as a model or tell if has just have been modified. The car is almost the same as the one in the picture below.

i think you have a RED one

Looks like a Wide Body Slant Nose Kit from the 80's. Both 914's and 911's could be modified. Not sure who the Manufacturer would have been, maybe Rayco?

If you want to actually identify your car, you should include pictures of your car.
Not just picture that look "almost the same" as your car.

The VIN is also very helpful in identifying a car.
