Where to buy new turn signal and wiper switches? What vendor has the best bang for the buck? I already bought used and that did not work out. I don't want to tear them out again.

Try VW parts outlets on the net / the switches are sometimes identical save he little number stamped on the case of the switch....

72-76 Turn Signal switches are the same as the VW part. The 75-76 Wiper Switch is NOT a standard switch. The steering column was sourced from the VW Rabbit. Switch has extra clearance of the back side the early one does not.

I switched my whole column out to 74 and used the late ignition switch with the early electrical portion
