So, I am out of tricks. Any suggestions? The lower shock bolt that goes through the control arm is stuck. Heat, soaking, hitting, prying...... no luck.

Thanks!

Try using a floor or bottle jack to raise the control arm slightly and the bolt should slide out easily.

Thanks Shadowbox, I have not had much like with that method either. These lower bolts are not threaded in the control arm, right? Just at the end of the bolt.

correct. . not threaded but a very tight fit. . could be rusted in the swing arm and shock bushing. .
the end has slots on each side. . have you tried a big wrench to turn it both ways??
Or a giant C Clamp to push it through?
