hope weather cooperates, gonna pull engine trans harness, one day next weekend 16 or 17. this guy cut the entire engine bay fuse box wires off, cut harness bundle going
to front headlights area too.

I was surprised by how easy it was to use the factory harness. There is lots of info on the pre 1996 OBD 1 engines like you have. Not much on the 96 I used.

If I remember correctly the only Thing I had a problem with was the VSS. But I read that the early ones, like yours, usually run fine with out it. I found a web site that listed all the computer part numbers that would work without a VSS. You could check yours against that list to see if you need one.

The only active codes I have are for the rear o2 sensor, Which I don't think you have ( the car runs fine without it) and a code for the engine fan relay.

So I don't think you will have to "fake" any signals.
