Full Version: Before I take engine off the stand

It's taken longer than I expected but I think engine is ready to go back in. Reinstalled the trailing arms, brakes, etc. Just need to install clutch / pressure plate / starter and mate engine to trans.

Before I remove engine from stand ...

1. I have an alternator ground cable, looks like tranny ground but smaller. Don't recall taking one off. Is it needed? Where does it go.

2. Does the pictured pressure regulator thing mount to the tins or engine. Can't recall where it mounts.

3. I will leave injectors off till engine back in? Make sense?

4. Reinstall MPS before or after engine?

Thanks.

No ground on alt. Second pic is the decel valve. Mounts on mps bracket. Injectors in and all fuel lines ran now. Anytime on the mps.

Hey Mike,
I've been following your posts and learning from the great folks on here.
It's remarkable how close we are on our builds.
Here's my engine. Look familiar? Clutch and trans already installed. Plan to put it back in this week.
