Looks like another project for after Rte66. It hits the heat shield when I try to hook it up to the headers. It might need some cutting and welding on the mounting bracket. Maybe I should have bought a whole new header system. Naaaah!

Seems to me, its your new muffler that's giving you fits. Take it to a muffler shop.

maybe your header is suffering the effects of Old Age Sag ???

Looks like the intake to the muffler should have been rotated more down when it was welded on. I had the same header/muffler setup before.

I would bend the mounting bracket a bit and retry!

2" drop adaptor on the bracket at the transmission to line it up but can't see how that effects the tailpipe that's not in the picture. Just a thought

same fit problem for a 911 Bursch onto a six -
you can either cut off the heat shield OR - cut pipes & rotate using
V-bands & flangeshttp://www.burnsstainless.com/vbands.aspxi plan to do that with a Bursch that did fit a six that had the shield removed, but "bumps" on my car
