Today was a good day

As every year I was invited to test drive the whole Porsche models
Like last year it happend at a security driving school nearby Innsbruck

There were two sections:

drive over a skitpad (pic) and try to correct and find the right way through the watercolumns
cars: Boxster and Boxster S (987), 911 Carrera (997) and Cayenne S

race a handling track
cars: Cayenne S, Boxster, 911 Carrera, 911 Carrera Cabrio, 911 Carrera S

unfortunately there were no Turbos this year

So, how did you like that new Boxster?

Well, the new Boxster isn't that bad but the new Boxster S is gorgeous
I'd say it's a dignified successor of the teener
lots of power, really cool sound, brilliant handling, easy to control - even with "PSM off"
better than in the older model there is more space for the driver; I found a good position, and I'm about 6 feet 4" (at more than 220 lbs)

if I could afford such a car, I'd buy a 987 Boxster S
