My transmisson woes. The trans that came with the car was locked up just like the motor. Pulled it apart today.
The Good
One of the sliders had rusted in place. Was able to break free. 1st gear dog teeth in excellent shape. Bearings good.
The Bad
One slider all teeth on one side gone and the three tabs on synchro? broken.
The Ugly

Anyone have any good spares? I have a good intermediate plate and slider rods I can trade.

if you feel like a drive to baltimore maryland, you can have some pare parts off of my spare tranny. we would just have to take it apart, its opened but in one piece.
just bring whats broke and we can match it up

My mom lives in Leesburg, VA was planning on driving up next w/e to use the parts washer at home. also that is wher the car is. I might take you up on the offer. Have seen the slider ring for sale but not the three tanged middle part.
