It looks like 914 rubber is back ordered on the German vinyl for the sail panels. Anyone know of another source that has it available now?

As we actually make or process our inventory in house instead of reselling, we often have more than the inventory says, just a matter of housekeeping on the site.

I just had my sail panels redone with Mark's German vinyl and it turned out amazing. It looks like OEM.....the best on the market.

Has anyone done the sail panel vinyl them self? and how difficult is it?

Very easy to do, buy Mikey's german set that is already cut to size, then the key is to use the right adhesive. Be sure the surface is super clean, use mineral spirits.

This is great information. Thank you guys! Next question is about the top. Mine is painted the same as the car and I don't like it. What is needed to get it back to the factory black color and finish?

Was it sanded smooth and painted? If so it would be easier to post a WTB in the classifieds or search local car ads such as craigslist in your area.

Is the roof supposed to be textured??? My orange car roof is textured and my red car roof is smooth and painted the same as the rest of the car. I don't know how it was from the factory. black, but smooth or textured???
