I put the dash cap on the car several years ago using the recommended/supplied adhesive. Now it is starting to crack - what is the best way to get it off?
Sledge hammer, hand grenade, chisel?

Try acetone first. Drip some around the adhesive and let it wick in. Hopefully that will dissolve it. Lacquer thinner is stronger but also more likely to do damage.
Why not remove the dash top entirely and replace it with a new one from 914rubber?
