I need the chrome lever and black barrel knob for a front of the shifter mounted throttle set up.

I have some 911 throttle levers. They have a hole at the bottom unlike the 914-6 that have a ball for a socket. Why not use a 914 heater lever and paint the knob black?

Keith just made the rod, tab and attachment to the heater lever from scratch and it fit perfectly / You could query him on technique.. Not sure what his handle on World is....

Stoddard offers this ball for carb linkage repair, SIC-167-022-03.
It can be mounted to standard heater lever. I have the heater levers.
