Anyone have a R (25:27) or maybe a Q (24:27) matched gearset for a 901?
with or without dogteeth.

Also interested in 1 or 2 good dogteeth and 3 syncro bands new or near new.

I have a Q 4th with a new synchro on it. Its currently in a transmission but I can remove it. Would like $450 for it.

fasthonda, that is a good deal if it has good dogteeth and new syncro.

I think now I am most interested in an "R" and an "X".

Anyone?
Mr. Olympic Blue 2 You
PM Dr Evil who does the transmission rebuild classes here on the world. I bought an "X" from him earlier this year and he treated me well.

Stugray,
I have an "X" fifth gear I can pull from a transaxle.
I can ship it to you for $400.00 if you are interested.

EDIT: Disregard, I just pulled it apart (early 911 gearbox) and found it was replaced with a ZD 5th gear mad.gif

What other ratios will you be using?
X is fairly common as it was used in a lot of 911/912 boxes.
R is more rare, I haven't seen them offered for sale much.
The Early 911S used AFMSX.
I will be using AGaMSZ in my 914-6.
cheers,

My current desired config is:
A, F, KA (flipped ZD) , R, X

It is a track 914-4 with a expected top speed of ~115 on the track I frequent

Looks like this with the gear ratio calculator:
