I know this topic has been discussed ad nauseum, but I can't seem to find anything newer than about 2014. I am rebuilding a stock 1976 2.0 with 96mm piston/cylinders made by AA Performance Products. As we all know they are Chinese and there has been much discussion about the wrist pins and overall quality. I bought them from the folks at Auto Atlanta and they assured me they have never heard of an issue with any that they have sold and they've been selling them for years. Does anyone have any current information, such as recent failures or any improvements in build quality? Is it worth it to spend a few extra bucks to buy something else, but what are the options? Thanks!

I have a set of biral 96mm that came from AA. They measured out good. Using JE pistons and Hastings rings.
