Is there a source for restoring or repainting the dash switches? Or has anybody done their own? My headlight, flasher and lighter knobs have faded. TIA

The little plastic enter pops out of the rubber surround. Sounds like some new centers coming soon.

Little sand paper. Little buffing, brush and paint.

That would be sweet if Mark was to make these

A hhhhh on it!
I will literally have these ready in about a week. Was planning to do a tread as a quick here's a nice way to easily upgrade the appearance of your ride.
I'm still getting the costs together, but looks like a 10 dollar bill for all 3.

Yes, good luck hand painting those in any kind of touch up way.
Mark should also reproduce the green and yellow fog/driving light switch centers as well.
I'd just do 'em all.
Light switch, wiper, lighter, hazard and driving/fog center caps.

The fog light switches I put in the cup holder of my Jetta all have an indent for the white on the amber face. I see no reason why they would be hard to hand paint. Put it on, clean everything not in the recesses, done.
But I am thinking after seeing DarrenC restoration thread this might be a job for Brasso.

Found this few days ago, maybe it's of use to you
(Scroll down on that page, there are some switches on that page).
I was looking for those, but EU style switches, so I can't use them.

$21.25 each. New ones would be 3 times that minimum. Sounds right to me.

There is no different between EU and US switch bezels but there were changes from 1970 to 1976

The EIS links above have the headlight knob for 1.50! Shipping is rather high, must be from Europe?

That must be how they get you, strange because it says they are located in LA

Some decals on the switches are different, like the hazzard light switch.

I would be very interested to see that, I have had several EU 914s and the bezels have always been the same

Went to EIS to buy the headlight and wiper inserts. Total cost was less than $4 but cheapest shipping was $24 on 2 items weighing less than an ounce. Everyone is entitled to earn a living but.... They had a 800 number listed but it was some bogus marketing sales thing that never put me through to a human, just endless adds. Sent them an email to see if we could work out something mutually agreeable but have not heard back which is a shame. Had a similar purchase conundrum with Sierra Madre and they were fantastic about making it work.

Yea, shipping was either UPS or Fedex and was not cost effective for sure. If they respond please share. Thanks
