Hi all,

while browsing through porsche 908 related videos on youtube I found an interesting video showing Brian Redman, who is explaining the targa florio race track while sitting in a car driving on the particular track.
Obviously he's driving a 914 with some interesting details. First of all the car features a racing harness, a steering wheel as in the early 911 and some instruments in the middle of dash underneath the ash tray.

I'm not quite sure, if he's driving a GT, but nice video anyways ...

why the edit the spin out of the videos at 1:03.yes he did! or got real sideways..hahaha yeahs it a six alright but who know what size,hard to tell just by sound in the video ...
why did the chicken cross the road? because he wanted to see the other side of the race cars for awhile .... great video thanks for posting it

In 1970 and 1971 Porsche used the 908/03 as its specialized weapon for the Nürburgring and Targa Florio. Due to the size of the course in Sicily they brought 914/6s outfitted with the special (GT) race kits to be used as practice cars by the Porsche factory drivers.
In 1970 they brought 2 cars, in 1971 they brought 5. In 1971 they were also doing a bit of engine testing:
2 cars had 2.2L S injected engines
1 car had 2.34L T injected engine
1 car had 2.2L T carbureted engine
1 car had 2.0L S carbureted engine

Anyone have a clue what the serial numbers were?
