Nearing completion of my first engine swap and I have a few nagging loose ends to tie up.

One of those issues is driving me nuts. I'm trying to put one of the CV Boots back into the CV Joint slot with no luck.
I'm not even sure how it came out. I probably pulled it out while pulling the motor but I don't remember.
Anyway, if there's a trick to it I would appreciate any help.

I don't want to tear it by using a screwdriver to guide it. I'm thinking something like a popsicle stick or something similar.

TIA

Steve

I meant to take a picture this morning to attach to this thread and forgot. Car is home, I'm at work.
However I think I have it figured out.

My guess is that I have to level (lower) the axle to the cv joint so the angle between the two is flatter.

Thanks
Steve
