Heads up! looks like increased enforcement coming to some of the canyon roads.

Thanks for the post. That's our local throwaway paper and I didn't see the article.

That stretch of Mulholland (in LA County, around the Rock Store) is show off land of wheelies and burnouts, with large spectator areas. Those assholes will ruin it for everyone.

Most of our poker run and twisty tour will be over the less populated and patrolled Ventura County section. But it still features serious drop offs and Targa Florio like sections. Drive it for fun, goose it when we get to the track.

I was guilty of going on the infamous January 1 hang over run, etc when I lived in Pacific Palisades. Figured anyone who goes out on these roads would appreciate knowing the community is cracking down. I cant say I blame them there are some real crazy bike riders on these roads as you mention. ...and then there is that wacky group of renegade night time racers.

I saw that article the other day as well. On certain days I've seen a marked increase in patrols on the canyon roads, as well as PCH, where they're using laser now too.

More and more I think that keeping the "crazy" stuff on the racetrack is the only way to go...
