but i have no idea where they attach in the rear. does anyone have a picture or another way of doing it?

The tow hooks in the link are for the front and attach to the torsion bar pick up points.

The rear tie downs in your link do not look like the typical rear tie downs for 914's, which usually are mounted on the rear lower shock bolt as shown on this Rennline link. A 911 is shown, but the 914 application is similar.

If it's at an autocross, it will be a flat parking lot etc.

You can just use the stock setup for that, right?

conflicting ideas ... smile.gif do you wannna tie it down to a trailer or tow it off the race course after it quits running confused24.gif

if at AX they`ll push you off..if lashing to a trailer those red bracket things would work nice..they make them that go on the lug studs as well ....
those stock tow loops bend really easy..good luck\

thanks for the replys, i knew I wasn't being stupid about those hooks. I have a fiberglass rear bumper so I don't have a hole and digging around would look bad!

Except for pulling straight back the factory rear hook is almost useless.

Those front hooks while great for trailers, won't work if you have a low front dam.
