Looking for suggestions on replacing a 1974 2.0 fuel pump. Not wanting to invest 400.00-600.00 on a fuel pump, looking for a good performing replacement.

Basically, anything that delivers the right pressure and volume, and has the correct sized fittings, will work fine. With most of them, you will have to eliminate the branch that goes to the "R" fitting on the pump, but that's pretty easy to do. You may also have to get a bit creative with the electrical connection.

Lowsquire
Bosch 69133. easy to find, cheap.(about $70 ) smaller diameter than original, just wrap a piece of rubber inside the clamp to take up the gap.
PlantMan
Airtek which you can get off Amazon for around $65.
Recently installed one in my 74 too.
I added a fuel gauge to the fuel rail as well. Purchased everything for under $100.
