OK....cleared out the chaff....working with a repeater and the damn thing works....I'm up on the top of the hill now about 50 yards from the house inside a block building....woohoo....
Time for it take a shit soon....

so is it just me, or do linksys wifi routers like to be rebooted about 15x more then other name brands out there?

I've had mine on for about a year and a half without the need for a reboot.
I like Linksys.

I really like the Linksys stuff too. I've had one for nearly 4 years now and have never had a problem. My father in-law had one that crashed/locked up
all the time. I updated the firmware in it and he never had a problem since.
If yours is having problems, you may want to see if there is a firmware
upgrade for it.
I do know that lots of people have had problems with their cordless
phones interfering with the wireless connections though. Nothing you
can do about this other than get rid of or change the cordless phones.
