Jim,
If you want, I can scan it into a .pdf file (or find someone there with a scanner). I would do 300 x 300 dpi
If you want to send it to me...
Karl Ellzey
I have several high-speed commercial document feeder scanners and flatbed scanners at work. We scan about 250,000 pages a year for archiving.
Thanks!

is this similar to the Haynes Weber carb manual? better?
Porsche Rescue
Jun 22 2003, 06:44 PM
I have the Haynes book too. It covers most all models of Webers. I use it for the 40's on my 2.0 four.
The Weber booklet is published by Weber and covers only the 3 throat models used on 911's and 914-6.

Right click on the link and hit "save as" and choose a folder to place it in.
Otherwise... it will just open each time you click on the link.

Oh man, that was too easy. The last time I downloaded anything from 914club, Lawrence had to talk me through it over the phone. Many thanks to the people that went to the trouble to scan this manual and make it available to everyone. This web sight has been a tremendous help to me since I bought this car. A few more odds and ends and I should finally get the engine installed and get this thing back on the road. Thanks again to all.
Cheers, Elliot

Sorry for the pages being a little crooked.
The booklet was European paper sized (A4). It was also old, and I didn't want to ruin the book, so I made copies first on my copier's flatbed (with a 95% reduction to fit 8/5" x 11") and then ran it through the high-speed scanner.
This scanner does like 90ppm double sided. It's black and white only, but it's fast. I could scan the 914 repair manual set in about 10 minutes.
We archive something like 60,000 pages a month!

Karl
