Has anyone here done this cleaning method before? I'm considering it for cleaning the undercarriage, suspension and engine compartment. The results look pretty incredible.....

Never even heard of dry-ice blasting before, surprising that it works on oily surfaces. Also wonder if blasting old plastic components with media at -69 degrees F could cause cracking. Apparently it works though.

We cleaned the primary mirror of the Kepler spacecraft with that technique. We have a machine at work. If I knew it could do that I'd have been more interested...

I think this process is also used for mold removal on wood in a home. Wonder how it works on old carpet or other fabrics in our cars.

I was considering it on one of my other cars. I know someone who has used it several times on his cars. Cleans without removing any paint. Not cheap but VERY cool process.

We use soda at the shop. Cheap and easy. We don't use it on painted surfaces though. Mostly engine, trans, ect.
