Full Version: Bad CHT sensor?

Car stalled out when warm yesterday. Once cold it started fine. Had a previous episode with a loose CHT sensor that did the same thing. CHecked it this time, sensor was tight. Checked resistance at room temp, was 6.5 Kohms. It's a 0 280 130 012 sensor. (To clarify, I DO have a 73 2.0, BUT I am running a 74 ECU, so I don't need a thesis on ballast resistors!)
To make matters worse, at some point the threads were changed to something not stock, so if I have to replace this thing it's gonna hurt.

Thanks,
Aaron
