Mahle or Kolbenschmidt Pistons The engine is a 2.2 SIX

How do you tell the difference between the two? I am sure there are some markings under the dome but what am I looking for? wacko.gif

Kolbenschmidt logo used to be K superimposed over S

T, E, or S ? S pistons were forged and i'd bet money on Mahle, if original.
T and E were cast, i'm less sure of those.

pictures - we need pictures ...

That one is cast--you can see the casting parting lines in the wall--Most likely KS

that hallmark isn't as sharp as some i've seen ...

a picture of the dome would clear up a bit more of the mystery ...
Cap'n Krusty
The K/S symbol leads me to believe they're K/S. Mahle spells out the name on the piston ............................ The Cap'n
