I am in the process of converting to a six so I will probably have a lot of questions over the course of the next few months. I just finished the oil tank install. I am purchasing the parts from PMS. I am installing a front oil cooler and have an oil thermostat. Where is the suggested installation for the thermostat. I have seen some installed in the front trunk. I believe PMS suggests close to the tank in the engine compartment. Anyone have pictures of one installed? Thanks.

Joe O'Brien (Series9) did mine this way...see pics. On the firewall, behind the passenger.
This is on the opposite side of the engine bay from the oil tank reservoir (PMS) which is in the usual place in front of the driver's side wheel well.

works great. My oil lines go through the passenger longitudinal to the front oil cooler.
