Pretty sure that my struts are shot as the front suspension is making horrible noises around the shock area and everything is tight per spec. But if its not the shocks then I want Koni yellows in the front anyways (Koni reds in there now)biggrin.gif

What I dont know is if I Have Boge or Koni struts. Bolt spacing on the caliper is 3.5mm Struts are from I believe a mid 70's 911. Can anyone determine what I have? I cant really tell based on the research I have done.

Thanks!

There should be a part number on them. You should be able to tell from the part number. They look like Boge to me. OE Koni struts have a different shape.

I'm pretty sure IIRC they make Koni yellow that fit the boge strut.

Are you sure the bottom hole for the BJ isn't ovaled?

Figured out the issue. The top collar was loose.

Good thing about fender vents is you can replace the front strut without removing the wheel smile.gif

Pulled the strut and its part number is Koni 82R-1943
The bottom of the shock was about 1" in diameter in stepped up to full shock width.
