I need to do all of the fuel lines to and from the fuel pump in the engine compartment.
Can I get anything acceptable at a FLAPS? We seem to have Kragen and Autozone around here. The nearest Napa is 20 miles away.
What non-metric size will be the closest?
Thanks!

Take a pieces of your old lines to the flaps with you for comparison.
Remember, there's an important difference between regular fuel line for carbs that only need around 3psi, and high pressure fuel injection line that will safely handle over 30psi.

This is fuel injection. 74 2.0L. It looks like all the lines I'm looking at would compare to the 5/16 size. In this diagram numbers 1 to 5. I've already replaced #6 (only to find more leaks so I will replace them all now.)

I found this stuff at a small local FLAPS.
https://ww2.gates.com/europe/brochure.cfm?b...cation_id=19543It looks way better than the stuff sold to me at Autozone. It also seems to pass all the highest specs.

That's the top of the food chain. How much did you pay per food?

Yeah I only use this stuff. Hose from FLAPS are cheap rubber. You can get 25' reels off Amazon for cheap.
