Hi all, it's been a while.

I have a transmission that was pulled from my 2000 Subaru Outback, about 220,000 miles on it. Was working fine and was pulled for a clutch replacement. During install, the transmission was left in gear and the splines on the clutch weren't lined up properly.

The transmission still worked, however after a few weeks of driving, I was no longer able to use fourth gear. I suspect something with the shifting forks was damaged during install.

It still drove and shifted fine through all gears except 4th gear until I replaced it with a JDM import unit.

I know some people swap these in to 914's and rebuild during the swap so I figured I'd offer it up here for free. It's not doing me any good in the garage and if anyone can use it I would rather that than scrap it.
