I do not want to hijack Tornik550's thread, but it made me wonder.
If you run the same tire on a 6" and 7" wheel, how much will the actual tire width change?
Most of the variance will be near the rim, not where the tire actually should meet the fender.
How about the actual tire meets pavement patch?
Could you offset it with varied pressures?
I guess it would depend on the actual tire, but it certainly wouldn't be the full inch.
Would it compromise handling to run a 7" wheel on front and a 6" on rear, if the 7 does not fit?
