Whats funny is that WRXs no longer sound like that. The "Boxer Rumble" was a result of unequal length headers. They were de-tuned from the factory to get that sound.
In the most recent iteration of the WRX (one of which I own), they went to a twin scroll turbo that required equal length headers to make power. No more boxer rumble.
Its funny that Porsche is doing this. Unequal length headers sound really cool, but they are not don't maximize potential performance. Its show instead of go.
