This car may be well known on the forum but I had not seen it before. Anyone know the story on it? $50k seems high for a '75 1.8....even if it is ultra low miles. Maybe $40k?
Besides, that's just asking price. If they find someone to buy it at that price, more power to them, but most likely they are hoping to get $40K and even that is too much in my opinion.

They should provide some documentation proving the mileage to get that kind of money.

How can you ask $50K for a car and not have a shot of the engine?

What is it about 1975-76 914s in yellow? I seem to see a lot of them in superb condition.
A very similar condition car, 3K miles, to this 75 1.8L sold 3 yrs ago for $42K.
When a buyer is looking for originality, condition is king. Engine size and other features are not as important as condition.
... either a 914 OR?? still a P/car... the price is inline... IT IS in better condition and more original than the one in the Porsche Museum... Prolly go to Europe..

Buckskin leather? I could look past that bit of incorrect description if he were on Craigslist asking $3000 for the car. But when you're asking all the money, one should know the proper materials.

It's only 80 miles from AA, does that imply some kinda George involvement??
