Yes that and the number of bolts on the intake flange.

If its the original motor for that car it has to be a 1.7L

but if its a motor change... look for the engine number or 2.0 heads

pretty hard to tell what the actual displacement COULD be.

pull spark plug and stick a chop stick in the hole and rotate engine and measure how far the chop stick goes......
