This auction looks way fishy to me.

So you buy the teener for $1500 and get the red car for free? smile.gif

You might find someone to pawn the Italian car off on, if your lucky. smile.gif
Qarl
It's just the lighting I think.

The dull black finish on the 914 makes it look Ferrari red with a digital camera flash! cool.gif

I that a Monza exhaust on the back? Ha ha!
Aaron Cox
ferari look alike? lol..huh huh.gif
seanery
read the pics from the original ebay auction.

Neither the buyer or seller's name is who is selling it now.
And what's up with using a previous auction's images and description?
DrifterJay
hey, did you read that the targa top has a sunroof? wacko.gif
doesnt that defeat the purpose of a targa? I dinno.... tongue.gif

I've seen quite a few DAO's do that to their cars.
I don't get it! confused24.gif

Just a guess = Dumb Ass Owners. idea.gif

yup
Mockmaw
I've seen some legitimate reasons for a sunroof in the targa.. someone around here put one in their race car so that they'd have more light for their recording equipment. I've also seen it used to keep the cabin brighter in crappy/cold weather where having the top off would be ridiculous. The problem is, I've never seen a very aesthetically pleasing implementation yet.

And they make the targa top weigh a TON..LOL

Yep.. that's fishy.

That isn't possibly the same car, is it?
URY914
So you buy them both and part out the Red job to pay for the resto and -6 converson parts for the black one.

Nice. cool_shades.gif

If you look closely at the bottom it says its a tribute to the red, white and blue Porsches and the ferrari???
Took me a while to fig smilie_flagge24.gif ure it out.
Red-Beard
The "tribute" is a trick to get "Ferrari" into the ad so that someone searching on "Ferrari" will find his Porsche 914....
