Anyone done this? Run a megaphone off a header, and muffle it with a supertrapp? What would this do for a 2.0/4 as far as torque and HP? Good idea, not good??

why not just run a supertrap, and pull the guts when you want it to be loud?

I am just thinking, not planning on doing. Whenever I have a crazy thought, I run it past you guys. Ok, so a header that merges into one exit, with a megaphone, and a supertrapp. What will this do?

add weight to your car ...
get the 4in1 header and put a straight flowmaster on that.

Supertrapp makes a tuneable megaphone.
SUPERMEG S/C ELITE @ $200 ea.
I am considering two. Run 2 into 1 on each side. Weld a flange on each...
Any drawbacks (besides loudness)? Will this rob me of any power?

Dave, I think running two, 2 to 1 would rob you power. 4 to 1 is better. Something to do with firing order. Get a header, 4 to 1 and stick something on the end. That seems to be the consensus here

yepp, for the 4-cyl the 4in1 will yield the best results.
for a six, two 3in1s are the best choice ...

For a 4, what type of HP is it safe to expect? What about torque?
