My seatbelts have wound all the way up to the spring housing. Any tricks to get them to pull back out without taking them apart.

i pretty sure you have to take em apart, and when you do, watch out for that coiled copper spring otherwise your 'ed.....nearly impossible to put back togethre when the sprting unwound

make sure you hold the spring housing UPRIGHT and not tilted.
the lock will not release if the housing is tilted in any direction.
then pull slowly and steady ...
