My heater tubes look like they are in decent shape, not the prettiest in the world but no damage or excessive wear.

What kind of cleaning or prep or reconditioning needs to be done before plugging them into the new longs and welding it up?

When I bought mine it did not have any heat or vent bits installed.
I put my shop van on blow mode and blew thru the ducts in the longs, lots of dust came out into the engine bay, no mouse nests however.
