Got mine today ... thank you .

Any quick tips for removal and install.
Was thinking a 13mm deep socket "slightly modified"
or bending a 13mm wrench .

Mueller
Got mine, thanks for doing this.

The 914Rubber production CHT units will have the correct connector. The unit pictured is just a mockup.

For the benefit of other members, the red/blue/yellow colored connectors are a travesty of automotive wiring. They are NOT sufficient for ANY automotive use. Use correct double crimp connectors with heat shrink.
Mikey914
Yes it was just a mock up. The production ones have the correct connectors.

The wire does get in the way. But your method should do the trick.

It has been too long. Should we use spark plug type anti sieze?

Thanks Mark, ordered this morning for our 73 1.7.

Has anyone installed the sensor in a 73 2.0/4? Does it work well?

Definitely used at least a deep socket. A box wrench on the end of a spark plug socket will allow you to snug it up. You don't need a bunch of pressure as it's really not going anywhere.

Last day code is good is today use it or loose it.

Hi Mark, I saw a bunch of responses for 71-73 914s, but just wanted to confirm first, would these work for 76 2.0 914 as well?

Many Thanks,
Jason
Mikey914
