Hey, I thought i'd bid on this as I would like the temp combo guage. Can anyone shed some light on the year and use of this? I saw a similar one in a 914-6 and was wondering if this is what it is. I'd guess its a later cluster but i know little about the differences between years.

It's a later cluster (no silver center) with emissions controls.

the combo gauge was used in non-console equipped cars from 74+

muchos gracias. biggrin.gif
the silver button should have given it away. wink.gif

It should be a 75+, as it has provisions for the EGR light and whatever the other light is, up top between the guages.

The no-silver-cone version was used on all of the 74+ 2.0s that did not have center consoles. (And evidently one or two that did--ask John Rogers about his daughter's car!)

The silver-cone version was used on all of the 914-6es, whatever handful of the 73 2.0s came without center consoles, and some 72 1.7s as well.
