Can somebody decipher these casting dates on the side cover and case of a trans ?
.......or provide a key to the arrangement of the date code ?
the date in the single circle is on the diff. side cover, the one in the three circles is inside the bellhousing.

I doubt those are date codes, have no idea what they are. The 74-76 tranny SN has a date code if that is what this case is from.

I intentionally avoided giving any info about the trans in the interest of impartial responses.
I'm 99% sure the date of manufacture is on these castings.
It's true of 356s and early 911s, not 914s ?
