I am replacing the rear hatch door panel on my 03 ford explorer. Any one have an idea of what i can use to get the adhesive off.
Thanks

Goo Gone

Best and safest cleaner is naptha (Zippo Lighter fuel, Coleman fuel, etc). It is safe even for lacquer finishes.
The goo-gone stuff is hazardous to many finishes and plastics. Be careful with that stuff!

WD40 is pretty good at that and most people have it in their toolbox.

Be careful, things like Goo Gone are also Paint Gone.
You can try White Spirit or even gas or kerosene (that's the Zippo fluid)

Don't underestimate good old isopropyl alcohol.
Also there are a number of good adhesive specific removal sprays.
