I HAVE A TIRED 1.8l MOTOR IN MY 1974.
Can I drop this in there,or is it going to be a big deal.

Thanks. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-engines-and-engine-...gationFlag=true.

It'll fit. It's got 4 bolt heads so it's not a 'typical' 914 2.0. Could be a bus 2.0, could be a 1.7/1.8 with 96mm pistons and cylinders. Could be a lot of things. But the engine will fit and since it has 4 bolt intake like the 1.8 your intake will swap over as well.

Thanks for your help.
Hopefully he will get back tome and let me know what the engine started out as,or serial number might help also.
Maybe it will be compatible with my stock 1.8L setup.
Cheers.
