Full Version: anyone ever rebuild their ignition switch connector?

I have plenty of wire to work with here. There has been some heat on that red wire and a couple others have been touched up with liquid electrical tape.

I figured I would cut a couple inches out and add new crimp on connectors. Got have the kind that have a tab on them to stick in the connection block.

Anyone have a source for those? Ali-Express has them, but I gotta buy 200 and wait 20 days for delivery.

Also might consider a fresh black block. Are those even available?

Mouser.com has all that stuff. It'll just take you 1+hours to search through the thing.

You are not kidding.... finding what you need on that site is impossible.

I did find this one with motorcycle stuff.

Turns out they have several for different wire sizes. I think I bought everything I need, connector wise.

Now what about the block, any thoughts?
